Silverton Jamboree, put on by Silverton Community Radio, was going on this past weekend. Located at Kendall Mountain Ski Area, Silverton Jamboree offered up a great combination of music, food and fun. What makes Silverton Jamboree especially interesting is that all of the bands that perform are Colorado-based.
We went early on Sunday and chilled out in the warm sun while listening to Waiting on Trail. Other bands throughout the weekend included The Motet, Aftergrass, A Dub Rock, The Rowdy Shadehouse Band, Salem, Bruce Hayes and Too Little O2.
The kids got to bounce in the bouncy house while we sat back in our lawn chairs and enjoyed.
Another great part of going on Sunday was “Sunday Bloody Mary Sunday”. Enough said!
