SJPmama is the schemer, founder, and the editor at San Juan Parent.  She created San Juan Parent because she wanted to find fun activities for families that would tire her kids out and make them go to bed at a decent hour. She has been banging away on computers for longer than she can remember and freelances at various tech jobs. She considers herself extremely lucky to have such awesome friends and family who are willing to let SJP feature their stories on the interwebs. See posts by SJPMama here.

Bookmama Avatar

Bookmama is a writer, parent, and avid reader. She likes to think she has good taste in books, but she doesn’t always agree with the literary crowd. Her nine-year-old son is even harder to please, and together they hope to provide occasional reviews of great books for both adults and kids. See more posts by bookmama here.

San Juan Parent

G-man is the lucky husband of the SJP brains, and father of two terrific girls.  Killer of spiders, opener of jars, reacher of high shelves and doer of any other required task.  He is thankful to be needed and loves every minute of it.  A native of the Western Slope of Colorado, he wonders why anyone would even consider living anywhere else when we have the greatest people you can find, hard- to-beat weather and some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire world right here in our backyard.  He spends far too much time hunched up over his computer but you gotta do what you gotta do. See G-man’s posts here.

Juliet Carr

Juliet is madly and deeply head over heels in love with her husband and children, ages 15, 8, and 4.   She finds that being mom to kids who are each at such different stages of childhood is really interesting, and she loves watching her three children grow into the people they are meant to be. She is an author and founder of a non-profit organization and serves on a local and state board of directors whose focus is suicide prevention. This mama wears her heart on her sleeve and speaks her truth from her heart. See more posts from Juliet here.

Rovingmama’s passions include: photography, finding good deals, traveling, laughing, cooking, eating, and her newest passion, running. She’s excited to contribute her random musings to SJP, because sometimes her cat just isn’t that interested in what she has to say. See rovingmama’s posts here.
